Zoo Music – The Young Dubliners June 17, 2016
The hardest working band in Celtic Rock are back at it! A year after releasing their latest album, NINE, they are still out promoting the old fashioned way. That means hitting the road and playing every show like it’s the last.
In recent years they have twice appeared on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, had songs featured in TV shows (Sons Of Anarchy, Human Target) and toured extensively as a headliner and as the opener for such a diverse list of artists as Collective Soul, Jethro Tull, Johnny Lang and many more.
Under the Stars Summer Concert Series: Calle 66 June 17, 2016
The evening skies over Albuquerque should glow more brightly than ever this summer as the New Mexico Jazz Workshop marks its 40th year by presenting a colorful and exciting series of concerts “Under the Stars” at the Albuquerque Museum’s spacious amphitheater, 2000 Mountain Road NW. The weekly amalgam of jazz, blues and salsa, which runs from June 3 through August 13, is ranging farther afield this year with a number of groups from out of state set to complement the established troupe of local artists who reappear from summer to summer to charm and entice their devoted audiences.

Aux Dog Theatre Nob Hill proudly presents TWELVE ANGRY JURORS adapted by Sherman L. Sergel based on the Emmy award-winning television movie Twelve Angry Men, the 1954 teleplay by Reginald Rose for the CBS Studio One anthology television series. Twelve Angry Men was also a major motion picture, nominated for several Academy Awards and subsequently enjoyed great success on Broadway.

The City of Albuquerque and the Vortex Theatre have joined forces to present Much Ado About Nothing and The Tempest from June 9-July 3 with Thursday-Sunday shows at 7:30 p.m. Civic Plaza will set the scene for this summer’s festival when classical theatre merges with urban downtown Albuquerque.
