Beginning Farmer Winter Business Series
The partners of Grow the Growers Farmer Training Program are offering a Winter Business Series for Beginning farmers or individuals considering becoming farmers. Each of the six sessions includes information and activities that will help you understand the business side of operating as a grower and get you started on writing a farm business plan. Topics include Record Keeping, Finances and Tax reporting; Managing Operations and Government Resources; Market Opportunities and Market Analysis; and Licensure, Registration and Permitting for Small Farmers. Join us on Tuesday evenings from 6 – 7:30 p.m. from Jan. 24 through Feb. 28, in-person at the Bernalillo County Extension Offices (1510 Menaul Blvd NW, Albuquerque NM 87107).
